Company to sell building at 200 Holleder Parkway, Rochester, and seek new location.
ROCHESTER, NY (June 1, 2023) - Monro, Inc., one of the largest independent auto service and tire dealers in the United States, announces plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from 200 Holleder Parkway in Rochester, New York, to another location in the greater Rochester area. Company officials are currently researching prospective sites. Monro has put the 180,000 square foot Holleder Parkway building on the market effective June 1, 2023.
In 2022, Monro sold its wholesale and distribution business to American Tire Distributors (ATD). This included the business and assets handled by the 120,000 square foot warehouse adjacent to Monro’s corporate offices at Holleder Parkway. The warehouse now runs at a fraction of its former activity.
In addition, over the last three years Monro has transitioned from a fully on-site workforce to a new culture of on-site, hybrid, and remote work. The change advances Monro’s strategy to actively recruit the best talent across the United States to support its more than 1,300 stores. The company’s headquarters, known as the Store Support Center (SSC), now requires a much smaller footprint.

However, we moved out of the wholesale and distribution business in order to sharpen our focus on our retail operations. Monro built its current facility in northwest Rochester more than 30 years ago. The company plans to maintain a strong presence in the greater Rochester area, where it was founded in 1957.
