President and Chief Executive Officer

    Michael Broderick assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Monro, Inc. in April 2021, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience executing profitable growth and business transformation strategies in the aftermarket parts and tire service industry. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Merchandising and Store Operations Support at Advance Auto Parts where he was instrumental in driving same-store sales growth and implementing technology-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency within the company’s 5,200-store network. In addition, Mr. Broderick played a key role in diversity and inclusion efforts focused on promoting women’s leadership in the automotive aftermarket industry. Prior to joining Advance Auto Parts, Mr. Broderick served as Senior Vice President of the automotive division of Canadian Tire Corporation, where he was responsible for improving customer service standards at 493 dealers, operating 5,800 service bays. Prior to his tenure with Canadian Tire Corporation, he was CEO of Federal Mogul Corporation, where he orchestrated a successful turnaround strategy to reverse a multiyear decline in performance and developed the company’s global sales and distribution strategy. Previously, Mr. Broderick was a President at General Parts where he helped transform and optimize business operations, including cost control and process improvements. He began his career at AutoZone, where he served for 16 years in a number of field and operation roles, including Vice President of the company’s Northeast division.

    Brian J. D’Ambrosia

    Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

    Brian J. D’Ambrosia was promoted to Executive Vice President in August 2018. In January 2017, Mr. D’Ambrosia was promoted to Senior Vice President – Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and was appointed Assistant Secretary in May 2017. Mr. D’Ambrosia was Vice President – Finance from May 2016 to December 2016. From January 2013 to May 2016, he was Vice President – Controller and was named Chief Accounting Officer in December 2015. From August 2010 to January 2013, Mr. D’Ambrosia, a certified public accountant, was Regional Controller – Americas Process Solutions Group at Robbins & Myers, Inc., a publicly held manufacturer of engineered equipment and systems in the global energy and industrial markets. From August 2005 to July 2010, he held various accounting and finance positions with Birds Eye Foods, Inc., including Controller – Accounting, Reporting and Planning and Controller – Operations Accounting. From September 2003 to August 2005, Mr. D’Ambrosia was Chief Financial Officer at Rochester Sports Group, a company in the sports entertainment industry. Previously, he was an Audit Manager with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, in Rochester, New York, from 1997 to 2003.

    Maureen E. Mulholland

    Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer and Secretary

    Maureen E. Mulholland was named Executive Vice President – Chief Legal Officer and Secretary in October 2020, having served as Senior Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary since August 2017. Ms. Mulholland joined the company as General Counsel in October 2003 and was appointed Vice President in May 2012. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Mulholland worked as an associate attorney at the Rochester, New York-based law firms of Underberg & Kessler LLP and Harris Beach, PLLC.

    Chief Human Resources Officer

    Matt Henson joined Monro as Chief Human Resources Officer in July 2021, bringing to the Company more than 30 years’ experience in field-focused human resources, employee relations, and talent acquisition. Previously, Mr. Henson was Vice President of Field Human Resources at AutoZone, from April 2016 to June 2021, where he led the human resources function supporting more than 6,500 locations in the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Brazil. While there, he transformed talent acquisition resulting in the company being recognized as a Forbes Best Employer for new graduates and improved hiring competitiveness and retention. Prior to that Mr. Henson has served as Vice President, Concept Human Resources, Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. (Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill); Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition – Americas, Dell Inc.; Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Cendant/NRT; and Division Vice President, Human Resources, Kmart Corporation.

    Dan Tripoli

    Senior Vice President - Retail Operations

    Dan Tripoli was promoted to Senior Vice President – Retail Operations in August 2020, after serving as Regional Vice President since April 2019. Mr. Tripoli joined Monro for the first time in 2001. He was a District Manager for nine years before leaving to open his own auto service and tire stores. He rejoined Monro in December 2017 as a Zone Manager. Mr. Tripoli started his career in the automotive service industry in 1998, working for Penske Corporation as a store manager and later a district manager.

    Cindy Donovan

    Senior Vice President - Information Technology

    Cindy Donovan was promoted to Senior Vice President of Information Technology in December 2020, after joining Monro in September 2019 as Director of the Project Management Office and Data Architecture, and promotion to Vice President in December 2019. Cindy was Vice President and Chief Information Officer at IEC Electronics, December 2016 to August 2019. Previously, she served as Senior IT Manager, Data Services for Paychex, December 2014 to December 2016. Earlier in her career, Cindy held various leadership positions at Carestream Health, including IT Director for IT Strategic Planning, PMO, and Governance, from 2007 to 2014, and IT management, compliance, and ERP application development positions at Kodak, from 1990 to 2006.

    Brian O’Donnell

    Senior Vice President - Training

    Brian O’Donnell was named Senior Vice President of Training in February 2021. Previously, he was Chief Strategy Officer at AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. where, over a 36-year career with the iconic franchise company, he held positions as Senior Vice President of Sales and Support, Senior Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President of Sales, and Director of Operations. Mr. O’Donnell got his start in the automotive aftermarket industry as a single store manager. During his tenure with AAMCO, he successfully led teams in launching a new Learning Management System (LMS) and AAMCO University and developing and implementing sales and operations training programs. Previously, he led a team of sales professionals to provide training and coaching to AAMCO’s 600 franchisees in the U.S. and Canada.

    Wynter Allen

    Vice President – Senior Employment Counsel

    Wynter Allen joined Monro as Vice President – Senior Employment Counsel in November 2021. She has a passion for developing a strong relationship between an employer and its workforce and is a key member of the team working to create a best-in-class culture at Monro. Previously, she was a partner at The Alden Law Group, Washington, D.C., a nationally-recognized employment and labor law firm specializing in federal litigation, where she was of counsel since 2010. From 2006 to 2010, she was a staff attorney for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Ms. Allen has served also as a public adjudicator and arbitrator. In 2021, she was appointed by President Joe Biden to serve as a member to the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) Federal Service Impasses Panel, which works to resolve impasses between federal agencies and unions representing federal employees. From 2017, she has served as a Commissioner on the District of Columbia’s Commission on Human Rights. From 2011 until 2013, she was Chair of the District of Columbia’s Public Employee Relations Board. Ms. Allen is a member of the New York State and the District of Columbia bars and received her law degree at the Wake Forest University School of Law.

    Nick Hawryschuk

    Vice President - Finance

    Nick Hawryschuk was named Vice President of Finance in August 2020. He joined Monro from Xylem Inc., a global manufacturer of water technology, where he was Senior Director, Global Business Service Finance, from 2017, and Controller, Global Finance Shared Services, from 2016. While there, he spearheaded a global finance transformation. Prior to his tenure at Xylem, Mr. Hawryschuk held various executive leadership roles in Finance and Compliance at Carestream Health, Inc., including Director of Strategy, Business Unit CFO, and Acting Chief Compliance Officer.

    Vice President - Business Development and Real Estate

    Jack Heisman was appointed Vice President of Business Development and Real Estate in September 2018, with responsibility for leading greenfield projects and acquisition strategy. Mr. Heisman joined Monro as corporate counsel in June 2016. Prior to that, he was an associate with the law firms Underberg & Kessler LLP, May 2013 to June 2016, and White & Case, September 2009 to May 2013.

    Karla Hock

    Vice President - Risk & Safety Management

    In June of 2019, Karla Hock was appointed to serve as Vice President- Risk & Safety Management. Ms. Hock joined the company after more than 18 years of experience in the Risk and Safety field. Previously, Ms. Hock served as Vice President of Risk Management at del Lago Resort & Casino and Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, LLC. During her time there, Ms. Hock was responsible for all aspects of safety and risk programs for multiple gaming and casino facilities in New York and Virginia. Prior to that, she spent 9 years as an Area Loss Manager and Safety Manager with Lowe’s Home Improvement and 5 years as an Executive Team Leader – Asset Protection with Target Corporation in Pennsylvania and New York.



    Vice President – Marketing, Merchandising and Commercial

    Austin Phillips was named Vice President – Marketing, Merchandising and Commercial in July 2022. Mr. Phillips began his career in the industry in 2004, when he joined Tires Now, then owned by Clark Tire, where he held many positions. Since Monro’s acquisition of Clark Tire in 2016, he served as location manager, Director of Pricing and Marketing, Area Director for Tires Now and General Manager. As Vice President – Marketing, Merchandising and Commercial, Mr. Phillips oversees the Company’s commercial locations, all corporate Marketing efforts, and Merchandising.

    Tom Shoolbraid

    Vice President – National Accounts

    Tom Shoolbraid joined Monro as Vice President of National Accounts in May 2022. Mr. Shoolbraid has 26 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, beginning in 1987 with AAMCO Transmissions Inc., holding various operations and sales training positions before leaving to open his own AAMCO franchises in 1992. After a decade as an AAMCO franchisee cultivating retail, national account, and local wholesale business, Mr. Shoolbraid became Director of National Accounts for Cottman Transmission Systems Inc. in 2002. Soon after, he became the Market Area Fleet Manager for a large Waste Management Inc. division before moving on to work in various sales and operations management roles. Mr. Shoolbraid returned to AAMCO in 2012 as Director of Sales for their new transmission remanufacturing division, Global Powertrain Systems (GPS). In 2017, AAMCO sold GPS to LKQ Corporation’s remanufacturing division ATK, who retained Mr. Shoolbraid as Director of Sales for the next five years.
